What kind of relationship do you want?
What I am seeking is a committed monogamous relationship with someone close in age who is willing to explore and adjust along the way. I do want to get married again some day.
I do not want a friends with benefits or polyamory situation as my own mental health cannot sustain those relationships.
What would you bring to a relationship?
Besides copious facial hair, a deep seated desire for stability, commitment, and romance. More than anything I would like the mundane satisfaction of waking up next to someone each day.
What is your love language?
I am of the opinion German is a love language, but few share that sentiment. Physical touch and affection are vital to sustaining health and happiness in a relationship. Reciprocity is going to be a key factor to succeeding as I am looking for a partner who also makes an effort.
What do you miss most about being in a relationship?
Situational inspiration to express love. Be it hiding love notes around an apartment, making little personalized gifts, or finding new cute stickers to text, the opportunities do this just do not exist being single.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would tell you that at my core I am a genuinely good person, relaxed, gregarious, and comfortable in my own skin. They would describe a love for socializing, adventure, and a sharp sense for finding comedy in every day situations.
How do you feel about children?
My window of opportunity for a having a child has passed. A potential partner may have children, but I have admittedly never been in a relationship with a parent. It would take some adjustment from my end.
What is your religion?
I was raised as a very conservative WELS Lutheran, but cut ties with the church long ago. I am not opposed to dating someone who is religious. But as a staunch atheist returning to the faith is not an option.
What are your political leanings?
I consistently vote liberal. We don’t have to agree on everything, but LGBTQ rights are very important to me. If you can’t get along with our rainbow friends we are not going to work out.
Do you have any pets?
My current living situation does not allow pets, but I do love dogs and cats. I would love to have a Jack Russell again or a chonker kitty.
What is your financial situation?
My financial advisor has complimented my ability to live well within my means. In 2024 I was able to achieve being debt free.
What are your hobbies?
Tinkering with technology old and new is a passion. My love for photography has driven me to travel extensively in pursuit of adventure. The Mini WI Project keeps me occupied and even garners press attention. In short, there’s always something I am working on.
